At Kildonan Orthodontics, we are pleased to offer our patients The Damon® System. These self-ligating braces allow your teeth to move more comfortably and easily than traditional braces. Thanks to these innovative new braces, achieving your perfect smile will be faster and easier than you ever thought possible!
After reviewing your specific needs, we will be able to provide you with a treatment plan that will have you smiling soon! Because the Damon System is very precise and effective, Dr. Brent Nickolaychuk can reduce the need for many of the time-consuming and complicated procedures that are used with traditional braces. Damon braces also work more efficiently, and fewer adjustments are required. As a result, your appointments will be faster and fewer in number. Lastly, Damon braces are small, very comfortable, and easy to keep clean!
Dr. Nickolaychuk is a certified Damon System provider. To learn more about the Damon System or your treatment here at Kildonan Orthodontics, please give us a call at (204) 940-7888.

At Kildonan Orthodontics, we are dedicated to continuing education and the best possible experience for our patients. It's a big reason why Dr. Brent Nickolaychuk is board-certified as a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and an active member of the Canadian Association of Orthodontists, the Manitoba Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists.
This past weekend, Dr. Nickolaychuk traveled to Washington to participate in the AAO Annual Session. There is always plenty to learn at the AAO event, and it's also a time for us to meet and consult with orthodontists from around Canada and the U.S. and stay up-to-date on all the latest technologies and orthodontic treatment options available. This, of course, allows Dr. Nickolaychuk to give you, our great patients, the best treatment experience possible.
If you've got an appointment scheduled with Kildonan Orthodontics in the coming weeks, we invite you to ask Dr. Nickolaychuk about his trip, including what he learned and how continuing education and acquisition of new technology helps us treat you more effectively!

April, also known as National Facial Protection Month, is upon us, and for Dr. Nickolaychuk and our team at Kildonan Orthodontics, that only means one thing: it’s once again time to remind our dear patients to protect their faces and pearly whites. Nearly 60,000 people injure their faces annually while participating in sports activities, and teenagers account for 80 percent of all sports-related trips to the emergency room.
That's why our team is doing its part to help spread the word about serious facial injuries. We hope the above video helps. If you have any further questions about any of the tips offered in the video, please contact our staff at Kildonan Orthodontics. And remember to have fun and stay safe out there!
